I assume the thick yellow band on the top of the forum page is.there for everyone to see

I was just thinking the same - it's ANNOYING.  Too bright.

It's there whether you're logged in or not. Very garish, and the timing seems to be encouraging finding a puppy for Christmas. Not a very responsible attitude at all.

Yes bad timing hadn't thought of.that but extremely relevant. 
Perhaps admin needs to rethink and also find a way it can be switched off if we wish

Some years ago probably longer when the site was two pages with lively activity, rather than the now 2-4 posts didn't many of the older established breeders & members leave due to the relaxation of health check requirements?
Certainly there have been some listed,  I'd stay well away from.

Yes you are right Lacy. There was quite s row. Unfortunately losing those guys was quite s loss imo.
