Hi all
I wonder if you can help with some advice,I have a  Three year old cocker, whose  long eye lashes are growing not like eyelashes I’ve seen, they are long almost straight down vertically, they are not inside entropion wise,  eyes water alittle on and off but never red or sore,
But it must be so weird for her, almost like peering through bars, she has let me take a tiny bit off the length, but I worry  about if I cut any more if the hair may become corse or encourage to turn inwards making things worse,
She have only become noticeable in last few months,
So do I leave alone or am I safe to trim abit more off
Thanks

I think this needs to be examined by a qualified vet.   I'd not risk putting scissors anywhere near the eyeballs!!   I recently watched a vet prog. I'd recorded where a dog was having a lump removed from it's eyelid - the vet used a spoon to cover the eyeball while she used a scalpel close to the eye.

Odd that (lashes)
