I was supposed to have a dog x-rayed on Monday.  The Vet called them to check what had changed and make sure she had the most up-to-date info.  Thankfully, she did that before she sedated my boy.  They said they were not accepting any submissions at present as the "old" scheme/method was finished but the new one wouldn't be up and running until at least the end of this month

I think some people send their hip & elbow xrays to be scored in Australia these days. The BVA were taking a very long time back in the first lockdown so some people made alternative arrangements. It might be worth looking into it.

Could you not have still done the X-ray and just submitted when it reopens in a few weeks? I hate X-ray time, I’d have been gutted to have to put myself through the stress twice

Having spoken to the vet we both decided to wait until the new system is up and running.  Apart from missing his breakfast, my lad enjoyed his morning out with some nice ladies looking after his every need I'm happy to wait and let other people test out the new procedures.  It might be another KC-like disaster.
