We believe that our maiden bitch, from observing past symptoms and behaviours, is a cycle day 9 to 10 ovulator, we want to do pre mate testing to be sure we're timing it right but does this mean that the timings should be slightly different to a dog that has a normal/average length cycle? Our vet uses a lab for results, which has a 24hr turn around period

Rule 101 - no two cycles are the same. A bitch can ovulate on day 9 one cycle and day 20 on another...
