My bitches bloods come back yesterday at 35.1 nmol/L saying to mate Friday with a second mating sat/sun ger bloods on tuesday was 5 nmol/L.The stud owner couldn't do yesterday so I left at daft o'clock this morning to travel. Get to stud and the wasn't overly helpful and wasnt super happy but she did let him mount her and mate her she is a midian bitch to proven sire. We got a slip tie and we both felt there was know point in trying her again tomrrow. Can she still gwt pregant and/or do you think it was too late.

Bloods at 35 on Friday with a slip mating Saturday, I would certainly try again. I have the best success (mating wise) 2-3 days after mid-high 30s. The girls haven’t been quite so receptive until then. Slip matings can be successful but I would be happier with a tie and if you have the opportunity to go again I would definitely do so.

I would definitely go back, 48 hours after the first mating (so that's today). You're much more likely to get a full mating with a tie.
(Just saying that you can either have a slip mating, or a tie. A 'slip tie' doesn't happen, because if there's a tie it isn't a slip, and vice versa!)

I don't understand readings as I've never bothered with them, going by how my bitch is, and how the stud dog is. Just to say a slip tie isn't necessarily not going to result in puppies (as witnessed by one of my boys who never achieved a tie but only missed to one bitch who came back on her next season to my other boy when there was a tie and no puppies. Going later to another stud dog not in my kennel, she again missed). Breeders do, however, prefer to see a tie.

A lot depends on the bitch and her window. I had a bitch which needed needed be mated ASAP on 25nmol, anything over that she wouldn't take. So next day she was over. So with my girls I always take to the stud dog on the day of ovulation and go with that, they always now take from that 1st mating, when I have tried the day after I never get anything, slip matings and lots of misses.
How is she internally? If she is steep then you will never get a proper tie, try getting the stud owner to hold him in when you go back, you have nothing to lose by doing this
A very small vulva but a stright in he wouldnt need to go up and over if you get me. The stud owner had held him in that us how we ended with the slip as she was not wanting to have anything to do with him.
I have a proven stud here and he didnt look at her where as her big brother (never used at stud) was wanting to get to her friday and she wanted to get to him too friday. So im not getting my hopes up as i fear yesterday was too late

I think you're probably too early. A proven stud knows this and won't bother. An inexperienced dog is going to want anything in heat, wherever they are in their cycle.
I would definitely go back for another breeding if you really want to see her pregnant.

I agree my inclination would be a little early rather than a little late.
