FIRST LITTER!!! my girls temp has dropped to 36.8 from 37.5 in the last 24 hours. i’ve seen people say that once it has dropped to this expect puppies in the next 12-24 hours however she has been doing no panting or no digging so far! she’s expecting 5 puppies and her due date is on the 27th. her vet did say to expect them 4-5 days early because of how much she had dropped. please help, could she still have puppies without the panting or nesting

It is very unlikely for a bitch to whelp without digging etc. Personally I have never found temperature taking useful, it's never told me anything. Just keep an eye on her.

okay, thank you so much!

That usually isn't much of a drop, they do say 36.4 or below for a good drop. How often are you taking the temps each day? None of my bitches have nested ever. Panting yes and mild contractions.
Keep an eye on her though.

Ditto re not taking much from temperature taking but it will fluctuate.  It's when it drops significantly, and stays down, that labour can be expected within 24 - 48 hours

If she's not 'due' until the 27th, the longer she hangs onto the puppies from now, the better.  As said cancel your appointments/activities, and stay close.  I assume she's sleeping in her whelping box now, with you/somebody sleeping in that room too?

yes we are sleeping in the same room as her and she is sleeping in her welping box. there is still no panting or nesting, she nested for about 2 minutes last night and went straight to sleep
