There are so many slow feeding bowls which dose anyone think is he best one for a Australian Shepherd as when she eats it too quick she is sick.

I use an ordinary stainless steel bowl but if u turn it upside down the other side gives u a sort of moat. Fill thay with food and it slows them down considerably and cheap too
Also try using muffin tins and put food in each tin .sets of 12 holes usually and very little outlay

I put a few spoons in my greedy boys bowl, the one I'm using to mix their food and a couple extra, they're too big to fall flat into the bowl so make a lattice over the food that slows him down

Thay reminds me I know peole who say that putting a ball in the bowl also slows them down .I assume that's if they arnt bright enough to remove it

You can also get a few smaller bowls and put food in each one .

Agree with stainless steel. We've got a bowl designed like a doughnut and seems to slow the down a bit. Could put half in bowl and the other half in a Kong (there are other brands available !)?

I put food in 2 L plastic bottle so he has to knock it around to get a few pieces out. In the summer scatter feeding on the ground works well.
