hi there, am new to the site , have put my name on puppy waiting lists as we are looking to give a loving home to a Bedlington pup when there are any available . We lost out beautiful Great Dane boy to bone cancer in September, he was only 6 years old and taken way too soon, life is just not the same without a loyal buddy by your side . Does anyone know roughly how long i am likely to be waiting for a well bred puppy , am thinking possibly 6 to 9 months , am i way off the mark ? I hope not as we are really missing having a dog . Will be attending any breed shows that are not too far away from me as soon as they are allowed to take place , and so the search begins !! wish me luck

That sounds a reasonable time line.

Find out if your chosen breed tend to work co-operatively regarding enquiries. Meaning will they pass you onto the next person with a litter if there are not enough pups.

In that case go onto your prefered breeders list.

If not then register your interest with more than one, but be sure to inform them if you have been assigned a puppy from another once born.
