Many of you will have read about the prospective purchase by Mars Veterinary Health Group of the Pets At Home Specialist Division comprising 5 referral practices, including DWR. Although the purchase is still subject to completion, we are expecting that this will go ahead very early in the new year. This is an exciting development for us because, although each of the practices will continue to operate their business as usual, we will all benefit from the increased investment opportunities and, for DWR, this is particularly significant in the context of our expansion plans into the new building. However, we anticipate no changes at all in the way we offer our specialist referral services to every colleague in the UK and we look forward to being able to continue to work with, and improve our services for, our colleagues in first opinion practice through the coming years.

Anderson moores is another but I cant remember the rest . Pets at home have sold them all for 100million to the linnaeus group part of mars so the article i read said
My goodness - there is a bit of de-ja-vue for me. I worked as a National Accounts Manager with Mars for 7 years in the early milenium and all I can say is that it will be beneficial to Pets At Home Specialist Division, Mars Veterinary Health Grp are an excellent part of the whole Mars Global network and they will be both supportive and great investors in taking this aquisition forward. I see only positive things ahead.
