That is the best place to go for respectable breeders.
You may even find they know of an older one needing re-homing, as good breeders will always help with homing any dogs they have bred should circumstances change.
For a planned litter expect to wait 6 months plus, as from season to homing takes almost 5 months, and plans and waiting lists will be started before that.
Otherwise your relying on a cancellation, or larger litter for a pup sooner.
This is the reason Puppy farmers and dealers of poorly bred pups thrive, as people are impatient.
A carefully bred pup with the best chance of a long healthy life, and sound temperament is worth waiting for.
