Has anyone out there heard of a dog called a "Dogo". I'm not sure how to spell it, but I've heard them refered to as a Dogo. A friend of a friend of mine has two of them, and I am wondering where I can find some information on them.

Dogo Canario or Dog-Argentino I would think but not sure ...

Basically "Dogo" is a word used for meaning "mastiff-type" in the Spanish and Portuguese languages.
