I have a congested very snuffly 5 day old pup and am so concerned went to vets with her ( not mine its now out of hours vet) and they prescribed synulox which ive had in the past for young pups but i usually get the drops..this vet has given me tablets to disolve because they had no drops and theyre 250mg whereas the drops are only 50! I didnt realise til i got home and have tried to call with no reply.I cant leave the pup with no meds and they didnt even give her an antibiotic injection so im very worried, please can anyone give me advice? Cut it into at least quarters, crush a quarter to a fine powder, mix most but not all of that with some puppy milk and feed with a syringe. I have been doing this for years. Bit of a bad mistake for them to supply the 250s though!!
