Hi,
My pup will be 6 months old one day after a ch show’s first day but the day before our group shows. However, if just adding 6 to the month it says not 6 months until two weeks later.
My questions are:
A.) Do you simply count age as in add, for instance, 6 to 3 if March was the month of birth? Or count 24 weeks on a calendar?
B.) Would my pup be ok to enter this show if I counted the right way or does it have to be the day of?
Thanks!

If a dog was born on the 3rd of march, it will be 6 months old on 3 September. NEVER count calendar weeks, it is calendar months.
Ah thank you!!! Guess will have to miss that show then
Working it this way your pup will be 13 months old on it’s first birthday

That makes my brain itch :-D
The pup has to be six months on the first day of the show
Born on the 3 March it will be six months on the 6 September and able to show interesting that you can show a dog as a puppy on the day of its first birthday as the defintation of a puppy is six to twelve months old

That is because the definition in
all schedules, for age classes, are not exceeding 6/9/12/18/24 calendar months on the first day of show!
Thanks, my pup was born on 18th Feb

You can show at any show where the first day of the show is the 18th of August onwards
