I'd not picked up that news.  Interesting - I home check for them.   I'm not especially a fan of Packham however.

Why, if by either, you mean the Charity as well as Packham?

Or me, I don't mind him but I object to the rescue

Well someone who supports hunting wouldn't like an anti blood sport activist would they.?

The MT"rescue"(not a charity)is run by an american who is an extreme anti breeder, yet her organisation, indirectly support puppy farmers by relieving them of their worn out breeding dogs & unsaleable puppies, allowing them to keep up their active breeding numbers & continue breeding from unhealth tested dogs & bitches. Also bizarrely they require ALL other animals in the home to be neutered even if they are a different species !! Almost a PETA like attitude

Can limited companies have Patrons ? Thought that was a charity thing?

How can you describe someone as"uneducated" if they have completed a University Degree in Zoology ????

The man is an uneducated pillock and a danger to wildlife.  Can't stand him.

This is one of my gripes with them; as the animals they rehome are all neutered what the heck does it matter about other animals in the new home?

Plus, by paying for and arranging the transportation of the ex puppy farm animals they are effectively acting as enabling agents for the filthy trade.

My ex husband was/is a maths teacher, he still wasn't intelligent.  I'm not sure what you mean by hunting, I work my dogs, but considering Packham is also a vice president of the RSPB who cull foxes and other species on their reserves, surely that proves the man isn't intelligent enough to realise the organisations he is supporting don't exactly fit with his supposed ethics.  Let's not even get started on him not taking internal flights, but selling holidays abroad, or his partner's zoo, which takes in rescue animals, but was set to benefit from a cull that Chris supported of native ponies.

THIS I'd totally agree with ..... if the animals they home are neutered, why should that matter!   Even as somebody who checks homes for them, I object to this.    I also wish more Shelters/Homes would liase with the relevant breed rescues.   Which again they don't, but then neither would another organisation back up East l home-checked for.   That goodness they never had one of my main breed in during my time with them.

I still feel I like to help find good new homes for THEIR DOGS.
