
I'd totally agree with the answers here - the whole point of adding endorsements to immature puppies is to prevent any puppies they may produce from being able to be KC Registered - it 'should' prevent an owner from mating the bitch before the endorsement is lifted but all too often that isn't the case, even if endorsements show 'intent'. Yes the KC may do the lifting but that makes me flippin' mad if they do. Good breeders who care about their breed and bloodlines, use endorsements for good reason! And if I'd been faced with this, I'd have wanted to be involved in the choice of stud dog used too!
I think, with all due respect, you are shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted!! Endorsements lifted - THEN do the mating with the help re the stud dog, or the breeder of the bitch.
