Dear all
Am from Sri Lanka and my female is just 18 months.
Since she was getting caught up with pseudo pregnancy the doctors recommended her to have puppies.
Mated 10 days back on the 11th day of her 3td season.
Everything we ususal but at 15th day, 4 days after mating she was still on heat her discharge turned into brownish color and after few days it started to be clear watery discharge.
Yesterday, just after 9 days since she was Mated the discharge turned to a little unclear in color.
Today at 10th day from the mate had taken place her discharge is slightly creamy.
Please advise

1.   Why would a vet suggest she had a litter to stop her having false pregnancies?   If they start this, usually it will happen after each season and it she was mine, I'd have had her spayed and be done with all that.

2.   I'm thinking pyometra which what's going on may or may not be that.   Get her checked   if this is pyo, she'll need to be spayed.

3.   Mated or not, a bitch will be in season to the end of the normal length of a season.

1 Does pyometra happen just while on heat?
2 she is still 18 months

Please advise

None of the doctors said it was pyometra!
They said she is getting a URINARY TRACK INFECTION rather!
I am worried

This annoys me, people are advised to follow vets advise..sorry but in my opinion, your vet has given you very bad advise here!

> 4 days after mating she was still on heat

Yes a bitch will not stop a season just because she has been mated & it will more often than not still last for 3 weeks or so(from the start).

> Today at 10th day from the mate had taken place her discharge is slightly creamy.

This isn't normal...I would recommend a vets visit but with the advise they have already given you, are they really a decent vet??!!

I would be taking your dog to a good vet and get them to check for pyometra .any suspicion of this should  be treated as an  an emergency and yes it can happen at any time.
I am also concerned as to why the vet suggested pregnancy to stop.false.pregnancy. if it's a big problem spay would have been more appropriate.
If she gets pregnant u now have a litter of.puppies to care for and home .not something to be taken lightly

I agree with what the others have said.  It is quite common to get pyo during pregnancy/after breeding.  After all, semen isn't sterile, the penis isn't sterile - and the cervix is open and bacteria gets in, at this time.

FIND ANOTHER VET.   The symptoms you describe would NOT indicate UTI.   And that should be simple to diagnose via a urinalysis.   The symptoms you describe 'could' suggest a Pyometra which can occur at any time, more likely after a mating when it's all 'open' back there!

One of the main symptoms of a urinary tract infection is squatting to urinate every few minutes, especially if she's only producing a tiny amount, or nothing, each time. A simple urine test would confirm that.
A sticky discharge isn't a usual symptom of a UTI.

Dear all
I value all your words expressed in helping me and my baby girl.
I had done all tests including scans a week back.
Today I took her to a doc and he said she has got a mild infection post breeding.
One dosage of antibiotics (un harmful for pregnancy as doctor said) healed the symptoms. Recommended to continue for three days.
Thanks to all
Let’s update if she is pregnant or not.
Take care all
