Just had my bitch progesterone tested and she is at 63.

They have told me it's far too late to mate. It's a 5 hr drive......would anyone try?

Well it can't do any harm to try, if you don't mind the drive.

When was the sample taken in relation to when you got the results? There can often be a few hours between the two and as every hour passes the levels will increase, making it less likely a mating will eventually produce a litter. If it was me, I'd wait until her next season
