Just as the title says really.
She was at 99.5 yesterday afternoon, 99.1 in the evening, this morning 99.2 then around 3pm at 97.4!

I know not everyone uses temperature but for those that do... this seems to be a major drop. She isn't digging or panting yet though. Has been digging every now and again for the past week. I'm just worrying!
It's her first litter, she's a [medium size breed]

I don't set too much score by temperature taking BUT when it drops, and STAYS DOWN, you should be able to expect labour to start within 24 - 48 hours, if not before.   If she's content, I'd wait, bearing in mind if it's a small litter, sometimes they 'sit' growing bigger by the day and potentially needing a C.Section eventually.

I'm afraid the waiting is hard but get all the sleep you can (in with her where her whelping box is with her sleeping in there by now?) - you'll need it once it all kicks off.

Thank you for the reply.

Her temp was back up to 99 this morning. She has been leaking clear fluid in small amounts over the past week or so but this afternoon she's just lost a lot at once! No panting still though. She's having 6, according to scan.
