Hello my first post on here so very new to the site.
My bitch is (probably) 2 weeks pregnant but today she has refused to drink, I have tried almost every trick in the book but no luck.
She is a little of her food but has still managed her usual 2 small meals.  would really appreciate any advice please

Maybe she's simply not thirsty....... don't you leave clean/fresh water out and available all the time for her to drink when she needs to?   Incidentally if she's having any tinned meat, that'a 80% moisture, so again, unless it's warm/hot (weather) or she's back from exercise, she may simply not need water as such?  Do you feel she's de-hydrated - have you done the 'tenting test'?

As long as she has access to fresh water all the time it's not a problem. Any embryos haven't implanted so technically she's not pregnant yet and needs no more water (and certainky not food either!) than normal.

Thank you for responding yes fresh water is available to her all the time but she isn’t drinking it she is feed dry food with a small amount of cooked meet added.
I’m just being overly courageous I guess. Thanks again

If you are really concerned, you can boil some kidneys or hearts in a saucepan and give her the water from that to drink.... But probably she knows how much water she needs ;)

If she likes ice cubes you could try those too. Or even better, frozen kidney/heart water!
