Just for general information...........
I had a letter on Friday from Vetmedic which also included my prescription for Metacam, it was for 6 repeats and I have had 3 bottles.

A lot has changed in 25 years and it is with great sadness that I am writing to you to confirm the closure of our telephone ordering service from 1st September 2019. This decision has not been taken likely but unfortunately reflects the current trading conditions and overheads UK small businesses face. This announcement does not reflect our internet business www.vet-medic.com which will continue to trade as normal for the time being.

If you have any current prescriptions they will be returned to you with this letter. Records of returned prescriptions will be kept here following UK pharmacy regulations and we would encourage you to find another small UK business to help fill your prescriptions going forward. We would like to place on record our sincere gratitude for your support and custom at Vet-Medic. Should you need to contact us then please make use of our social media profiles, website or email us on info@vet-medic.com

I have used them since the regs allowed you to get prescriptions from the vet to get filled elsewhere and always found them very reliable and a good price for stuff...........have to look at the rest now

Ok.   So, as I do, getting a prescription from my vet and ordering Metacam online by scanning the 'script and attaching it to the ordering email isn't (yet) affected?    My vet is a bit naughty in that they only give me, and charge, for one prescription for me to buy online (at vastly less than they charge, even with the cost of the 'script).   I don't buy from this source btw.   I use Animed Direct.

I also have repeat prescriptions from my vet, and have found Pet Drugs Online to be very reliable. Prices can vary quite a bit between companies though, so it is worth checking them for the product you need.
