The lady went to view a dog which was supsoed to be blue, advertised as blue and in discussions said the dog was blue. Went to view and in the space the dog looked blue apart from a little bit on the back end which the breeder told the lady was dust from the shavings in the kennel. The lady got the puppy home and checked it over again and looked at the paper work and the colour on the paper work states dark brindle rather than “colour not recognised”. I explained to the lady the obvious about checking before she took it etc. The breeder is not returning any Calls or emails to her. Does she have any rights or is it really she should have checked everything

So blue is not a recognised four in that breed then, some less than honest breeders will lie on the paperwork either to avoid having 'colour not recognised' on the paper work or to allow them to actually register the pup at all as some breeds do have restriction when it comes to colours or to allow them to use the KC affix as you can't if a litter contains CNR.
