My pregnant bitch is a whippet and only at night she gets the hacking cough.  Could this be indigestion?

It could be any number of things from a simple cough to a tumor in her lungs. If you are worried then go to the vet ! No one on a forum can answer your question. Personally I would get it checked out if its something new and unusual for her.
