In all my pregnant bitches, I've never had this happen. Personally I would be at the vets as soon as possible.
It could be any number of things, from pyometra to her resorbing or losing a pup - maybe just one pup, maybe more. Without a knowledgeable repro vet and an ultrasound and bloods, you won't know.
Thanks@jeanSW...today she produce normal white(raw egg) discnarge..

Hi. ..guys..today 42 days pregnant.. she discharged small amount of light watery blood..not dripping, just a spot now ...no smell...she is eating very very well..my vet said its may be normal and he is confused...i think it is a climate issue( over heat)..in last 3 days only 2 or 3 times the light reddish watery discharge is known..some times discharged(dripping) clear discharge. I am giving the nutrich tablet for the past 1 month.. pl advice..
What are we supposed to advise on? What is a nutrich tablet? The ingredients?
Heat will not cause blood to discharge. Unfortunately this probably means one of two things: Pyometra. (Which you can google but it is life-threatening and can occur after breeding because obviously bacteria have been introduced to the uterus at the time of mating) - OR she is losing a puppy or puppies, possibly by re-absorbing the pup.
Either way, it's not good. I don't know what country you live in, but in the UK, you would be getting blood taken and analysed to look especially for elevated white blood cells or sign of an infection (pyometra) and you would be doing an ultrasound to ensure all is ok with the pregnancy and to look for sites of absorbtion.
We can't really advise or do anymore than we've already done...
Virbac tablets (India)
Vitamin A 1100 IU
Vitamin D3 110 IU
Vitamin E 2.5 mg
Vitamin B1 0.2 mg
Vitamin B2 0.5 mg
Vitamin B6 0.22 mg
Vitamin B 0.4 mcg
Folic Acid 0.04 mg
Calcium pantothenate 2mg
Nicotinamide 2.25 mg
Calcium 110 mg
Phosphorus 80 mg
Iron 6.75 mg
Zinc 2.5 mg
Benefits:
Faster growth, prevention of Nutritional Alopecia,
Healthy pregnancy and helps in prevention of
Epiphora and Coprophagia
I definitely wouldn’t be giving a tablet containing calcium during pregnancy. Feed a complete food and everything will be in that....

Hi 1234, am in India..am giving the above(whatevernext) mentioned nutrich tablet..today she discharged clear(raw white egg).. am in village... my area (around 70 kms) vet hospitals are no facilities like scan, xray..etc.. vets are no experiance in dogs.. vets said pl wait 2 days..
so am very confused....but my dog is very normal...so ill wait 2 days..
I think, if you have no facilities, then all you can do it watch really closely. If your dog becomes ill - goes off her food, becomes lethargic, vomits etc etc - then she may need an emergency spay to save her life, as it could be pyometra. She will then need ABs too.
To me, it does sound like it could be pyometra unfortunately. Whilst a small/tiny amount of clear discharge around day 21 can be an excellent indicator of pregnancy, I'm not sure it's normal for that to continue on throughout the whole of pregnancy, at least not with my dogs. (Anyone else??) Sometimes pyo can be white/creamy in colour as well as bloody or brown.
Thank u very much@1234... I think its may be UTI...because in last 4 days light reddish discharge known just 3 to 4 times only...all that times light reddish discharge showing when she is after peeing...not drpping...just a spot now...remaining times she showing clear white dischage...if it is UTI..can I give any AB.. pl advise...
My bitch lost a dark bloody discharge at 8 weeks in whelp - taken to vet and she has reabsorbed her litter. Same could be happening here, keep a close eye on her in case a pyo develops
Thanks @ells-bells..but my bitch light watery discharge when she is after peeing..not dripping..just a spot now ( half drop with urine)
I think it would be a bit of a coincidence for her to get a UTI during pregnancy - whilst not impossible, it wouldn't be my first thought really.
The most common AB given for UTIs is Synulox which is "clavulanic acid as potassium clavulanate and amoxicillin as Amoxicillin trihydrate" (copied and pasted that bit) and Synulox is fine during pregnancy: "Synulox is safe to use during pregnancy and lactation in dogs and cats. "

Just to give you an example, a friend of mine (who is very experienced in dogs), has just had the vet tell her, her bitch (who is not in whelp) that she has a UTI..
she does not, she has Pyometra(which is what my friend kept telling her vet)!
You have people here, who are trying to advise you but you don't seem to be taking in the information & your bitches life could depend in this!!

I am at my wits end here at the fact that you are, basically, ignoring some very experienced advice. Why did you ask for advice?
I think the problem is that the OP has very primitive vet resources available to her in India, no scans or blood tests. So either she has to make the assumption it's pyo and have a gravid spay and if it wasn't pyo she would then have unnecessarily lost the pregnancy (if it wasn't pyo) OR to wait and see or try some ABs in case it IS a UTI. It's a difficult one.
I think some people are a bit overdramatic here! To me it looks you are doing everything right, you clearly care about your bitch and you are looking after her well.
You will notice if she starts feeling poorly. Look up on the internet the symptoms of pyometra, discharge is a sign of open pyometra however this discharge would be visible on the dog's bed after she laid there for prolonged time (for example in the morning after a night's sleep). The discharge would also be a "pus", a bit smelly.
Until then if she is happy and eating well I would not worry unnecessarily, perhaps she is absorbing the puppies perhaps it is UTI - if antibiotics are safe it could be a good idea to give her a course, and continue to watch her close for any changes in her behaviour or health.
How does she look - does she look pregnant, is her tummy getting larger? (at 40 days this would normally be noticeable).
(Altho if she has a pyo, you might also see the stomach getting larger...)
^ Only with the closed pyometra. And by the time the stomach area is distended, the dog would already feel very poorly due to the toxins....
With the open pyo which is what could be a suspicion in the OP's case, the pus has a way out and as such doesn't collect in the uterus causing it to enlarge (I suppose some enlargement may be due to the infection but it would normally so minimal that could only be detected by x-ray or ultrasound)
First I Thank to lexy, JeanSW, 1234, monkeyj and all for all the advice given. At present I am not able to treat the dog for 3 reasons. 1) Vets near by are not experienced enough in dogs. They are ok for small ailments like fever.diarrhea 2) no enough facilities like blood test, scan etc..
3) facilities are very farer..So pl dont mistake me..I am sharing the information I get here with my vets He keeps on asking me to wait for 2 days.....Today i had watching closely to my bitch ...She is eating well and her tummy is little larger and sometime she showing clear discharge ( white raw egg)..But only when she peeing after a seconds just a drop show light bloody with urine not dripping..otherwise all things are normal... once again i thank to all for your valuable response
when she peeing (1 or 2 times only not all the times) after a seconds just a drop show light bloody with urine
If you have access to antibiotics, I would put her on Synulox - or another brand of the equivalent (see above). This is safe during pregnancy and will stop the UTI (if it is one). If it is a pyo, it might slow that down a bit but it's not going to stop it.

Thanks@ 1234..synulox is not available in my area..pl tell any alternative AB and dosage per day..
Hi 1234, Can I give amoxicillin tablets...
Synulox is "clavulanic acid as potassium clavulanate and amoxicillin as Amoxicillin trihydrate" - pasted from above. So yes, amoxicillin is in Synulox. The clavulanic acid helps it to be more effective, if you have amoxicillin with clavulanic acid available - ask your vet!
Hi 1234,, can I give the below tablet.......
MOXIKIND-CV KID. ( amoxycillin trihytrate IP equivalent to amoxycillin - 200mg. + potassium clavulanate diluted IP equivalent to clavulanic acid -28.5 ) . This tablet is available in my area....
Thanks 1234... now she is 45 days of her pregnancy..so I will wait because my bitch is normal.. sometimes only after peeing light watery blood ( just a drop in the spot)...i will update after some days...once again thanks to 1234 and all...
I would definitely put her on ABs if there is blood in her urine. There is no 'normal' explanation for this. It is (at the very least) a UTI - which, left untreated, can spread to the kidneys and cause serious disease and ultimately death - and that's in an unpregnant dog.
I would not just ignore blood coming out of your pregnant bitch if there are any other options available to you.
Hi guys. ... I gave AB ...now reddish discharge is stopped in past 2 days...:now she is eating not well and some times very tired and some times very active..
I'm glad to hear the red discharge stopped. Keep her on the ABs - just because symptoms stop, don't stop the course - or the bacteria will return (and that's where AB resistance starts and you really don't want that). So keep her on the meds now.
In the last few weeks, sometimes bitches go off their food - the pups are taking up all the space - so it could just be that. Of course it could be anything else as well. When is she due? How many days is she now? Is her stomach getting bigger, does she look noticeably pregnant yet?
