Topic Dog Boards / General / Alabama Rot

I'd like to take my dog on a holiday, and was thinking about one of those forest type holidays. They have chalets which allow dogs, at an extortionate rate - £10 per night for a house trained toy poodle !!!!!!!
Anyhow, then I remembered Alabama Rot and realised that I haven't heard anything about it recently.
Recently I noticed my dog was nibbling her feet. I stopped her running on the grass while it was wet and stuck to path walks, this cured the problem.
So I was just wondering what people think ?
I'm looking for something in the north Wales/ Yorkshire /Peak District area.
Is it still a risk or should I look elsewhere?
TIA

The further east you go on the country the less likely you are to see incidences of AR. It's much drier in the east especially the East anglian counties even at this time of the year. AR seems to thrive in wetter areas
