Does Mate Select calculate the EBVs on litters/puppies - or only on the parents?  I can only find EBVs for individual existing dogs, although it does say that a puppy's EBV will be the average of its parents.  But I can't see anywhere to get a visual representation of the EBV for a proposed litter...?  (Like you can with COIs....?)

Anyone know?

EBV's are something I doubt we will ever see for our bred in the UK, just to few of them bred.

Doesn't the Estimated Breeding Value include hip & elbow scores, obviously cannot evaluate these accurately in very yoing puppies nor any dog undr the age of 12 months, unless you Penn Hip.

The EBV considers all the previous hip and elbow scores behind a dog, and uses that information to estimate an individual dog's genetic risk.

Any puppies will have the average genetic risk of their two parents' scores.  I just wondered if there was a graphic for that, to give people on the waiting list.
