Do you know of a reputable person, who may have a husky puppy preferably sandy/beige coloured that will be ready for collection in the Nov/December period.
For young girl of 15
Our e-mail address is ianjamesbailey@hotmail.com

i hardly think a young girl of 15 is a suitable owner for any breed of dog, let alone a siberian husky! nor do i think a reputable breeder would have any available around christmas or even sell one knowing it was for a child. and by the way reputable breeders do not breed for colour. please find out about the breed BEFORE you even think about buying one as sibes are horrible little blighters and do not make good pets, and would be way to physically stong and mentally strong for a young girl. they need experienced owners who can be a strong firm pack leader, and a doubt a young girl could fill this role.

I agree a bad choice for a young girl. Also don't buy for colour you could be very dissapointed. Husky colours do tend to change.
I had a litter earlier this year and kept the bitch. She was a lovely biege colour up untill about 14 weeks old now she is really dark.
I think you'll have your work cut out finding a pup of any colour this time of year.

I agree with Sharon
I had a cream/white husky pup 2 years ago he is know silver/black and grey.
They are beautiful animals (in the right hands) much to powerful for a young girl :) The times my male husky has pulled me down the steps in the front garden :) :) I have gone down on my bum on every one of them and yes it does hurt. Why dont you ask your parents if you could have a smaller dog after xmas or even better rescue one. There will be loads in the kennels by the New Year. Although if you are taking sole ownership of the dog you should wait till you are older.

Hi,
If you are serious about having a siberian husky it is important that you do your research into the breed..... they are unlike any other dog you have ever known.
Once you have done your research you will have to put your name on a waiting list..... breeders of sibes do not have them readily available and be very wary of anyone who does.
Most Breeders will ask you lots of questions to make sure that you are suitable owners for a husky.... so you need to question yourselves first.
they are pack dogs and need constant company of either humans or other dogs
they cant be trusted with small pets
they should never be allowed off the lead
they can be very destructive
and of course they pull! a 15 year old may stuggle to control a full grown sibe
being a husky owner is not easy and you really do need to do your homework the SHCGB website is a great place to start
:)
