Hi folks

We've had a lovely lake side sunday walk this morning with 2 of our labs, one seemed to be messing around by the water edge so I went to get him and a fisherman had left a pile of mealworms / maggots that he was happily tucking into  will he be ok? Do they put anything harmful to dogs on them? He seems his normal self, hasn't been sick etc .... I think I would of died of embarrassment if he had outside the cafe!

I feed huge amounts of dried mealworms to the birds.  Obviously a few get knocked off the bird feeder.  My dogs don't show any ill effects from "clearing up."

Should be fine .mine clear up any the birds drop it what I drop . She also found some maggots in the summer and happily munched a few while I cleared up .no ill effects . Extra protein lol
