Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / Anasarca (Walrus puppy)

Hello, I have a two year old bitch that produced a single Anasarca puppy, delivered by c-section, the puppy died almost immediately.
The bitch is a lovely specimen, has a great temperament and is 3rd generation of my Kennel.
I would like to know if anyone has been presented with an Anasarca puppy, and if they successfully bred the bitch again?
Thank you

I've had one such pup, but it was in the bitch's second and final litter. She had 13 pups both times, first time one was stillborn, second time one stillborn and the walrus had to be put to sleep. Different stud dogs used, the one which produced the walrus gave the litter a COI of 6.1%, the first litter was just 0.2, but the lines in common for the second litter I have had dogs up to 19% COI with and never seen such a pup so I'd be surprised if it was genetic.
