My girl had a litter of 8 on 28th April, all fine and she is an excellent mum. She did have mastitis the day after delivery and was treated by the vet with anti biotics and Metacam. Mastitis sorted and mum and pups are doing well. However she has started to dig in every diggable place. It has always been outside, flower beds, gravel,never in the whelping box up to today when she has rearranged our other dogs bed with a vengeance. I do not think she is in pain as she is so loving towards the puppies, us and the few visitors we have had. Any ideas?
