Having just read this story

http://truthaboutpetfood.com/lawsuit-filed-against-champion-pet-food-acana-and-orijen/

and being on a lookout for a (very) good brand of kibble to use as training treats, I'm wondering is it possible to test a sample somewhere in the UK?

Do you know of a laboratory that could test at consumer's request for particular things? Every little helps.

Any lab will need to know what you want a sample testing for ...you may be very suprised how much some tests cost!

Not sure if they will test for what you require but try https://www.eurofins.co.uk/     or    https://www.als-testing.co.uk/

That's great thanks I'll look it up! I thought it might not be cheap... then I guess several people might put their funds together to test a particular product they might be interested in....

Many labs in the UK can easily test for heavy metals relatively cheaply. BPA is a bit more expensive.
Bear in mind why you are doing this though. I didn't have time to look at the study in any detail, but the levels of heavy metals present appear to be less than those allowed in drinking water in the UK.
