My family and I have been trying to find a Lab for my retired brother. We would prefer to give a rescue dog a home, but it seems all the centres we've been to insist their dogs only go to homes with a garden. Brother lives in a retirement complex without a garden but he lives 2 minutes away from windsor great park with its hundreds of acres to exercise a dog in. He would intend to give the dog two off lead walks in the park and two toilet breaks locally.  Hence the dog would get more exercise than a dog with a garden. Brother is well experienced dog owner tho he's always had German Shepherds.
Does anyone know of any center that is more interested in the potential home/person than a garden.?
