Good evening everyone,
We had to say goodbye to our beautiful almost 14 year old Lab, Lucy, last Thursday. I feel like I am walking in treacle with grief and loss. She was happy right up untl the end .
We have to continue with dog love and are going to look for a retriever puppy to give a home to ideally sometime at the end of June when we have a long summer holiday and can devote enough time and attention to her/him. I'm sorry if this is all inappropriate but I just don't know where to start on here. How do I register on a waiting list ? I thought I found one on her last night and contacted the breeder as requested but heard nothing back. Any help or advice would be very gratefully recieved.

There are 56 litters on here right now. Look on Breeders, litter register. Also contact your local breed club.

Welcome to the forum Judith. I am very sorry to hear about Lucy. We all know how it feels to lose a much loved dog and know what you are going through. I see that you have added your details to Champdogs Waiting List and we will email you details of all litters (including planned litters) that are added to the site in due course. Sometimes breeders do take time to respond to queries but please keep in mind that they are probably busy with their puppies. I am sure they will get back to you when they can.
