Topic Dog Boards / General / Dog friendly attractions/places Mousehole & Watergate Bay

Hi
We are taking our 2 dogs away with us this year to Cornwall - Mousehole and then Watergate Bay.
Can anyone recommend dog friendly places to visit near to either of these locations please?
I am finding that many places/attractions do not allow dogs or (on St Michael's Mount, for example) dogs are allowed but you can't go in x, y & z - which makes it pretty pointless.
It's a holiday for them too, so we want to be able to take them out & about with us.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Thanks.

I found this on the Watergate bay website might be useful.

Most places have a website with all the dog friendly beaches down these eer parts, you'd need to know about   Here in Bude we have one that's a no-dog beach at any time and the other will allow dogs but only early and late in the day during the high holiday season.   It's better before May and after October.

Do remember that when/if we do get any kind of summer, beaches themselves (sand) get very hot to the foot and not good for dogs. And there is obviously lack of shade on beaches.

Thanks both.
Not particularly fussed about beaches (although the Watergate Bay beach is dog friendly all year round), just wanted to make sure we were able to take them out & about and that they would be welcome wherever we went.
