My bitch had pups 6 wks ago and last few days wants outside more often but only to eat little stones and gravel!! No clue why there’s no way she’s not getting enough food. Any others experienced this?

Is it limestone gravel? She may be searching for a source of additional calcium.

Not at 6 weeks but from a couple of months our last pup did this, couldn't say if it was limestone gravel. Fortunately fenced back garden didn't have any, but anywhere that did it was like 'pick & mix' & had to monitor him all the time. Didn't last for long as he then moved on to bird feathers!

It's not the pups doing it, it's the bitch...

Could she be feeling sick for some reason?  Dogs often want to eat inedible stuff when they feel like they're going to vom...

It’s like the little stones that come from the outside walls of our house. Doesn’t seem to act any different other than this

No and you really need to stop this - unless these stones are passing through, eventually she may be in trouble - blocked up, and end up on the vet's operating table.
