Is anyone else struggling to get hold of a copy of the Our Dogs newspaper? My local newsagent could not get it in last week and may or may not be able to get yesterday's. My lad is due a couple of critiques and I'll be so disappointed if I can't see them as a first or second place is somewhat unusual for us! Failing that does anyone know if anything has been in this weeks from the Northern Golden Retriever open show or the North West GR Club open show? Any information very gratefully received!

Special Award Classes It was a great honour to be invited to judge these classes, a lovely show with a friendly atmosphere and excellent hospitality a credit to the hard working committee. P (9, 2) What a stunning class of quality puppies, I Maynards Chinnordale Cue Card, couldn't help but watch this puppy as he walked into the ring with such an air of confidence, 6 months old but so well balanced, loved his head and such a pleasing expression, found him to have good construction which was confirmed when he moved around the ring, good driving action front and rear which gave him the edge on the other exhibits today, held his level topline on the move. 2 Catteralls Golmas Genoveva, 3 Bradwells Beamsley Break My Heart. G (7,3) I McDonalds Lamancha Keep A Secret JW, An elegant and stylish bitch who just showed her socks off, very feminine head with a good reach of neck leading into a level topline, another with correct construction and straight steady movement which enabled her to glide around the ring with ease, a lovely overall picture and very well presented. 2 Golders Summeramba Milady 3 Stonebridge Toseland Ice Gem. O (2) I McDonalds Lamancha Just Meant To Be JW, 3yr old dog elegant but masculine, again super head with good length of neck. Lovely to go over, everything where it should be, straight front and good angulation front and rear which was also evident when he moved. 2 Webb Fletlanders Pumpkin At Hectson ShCM.

I've found critiques for a show in April this year for one of those shows. Would that be the one? Ch show.

Thanks for this tatty-ead, it's the show we were at, but unfortunately we weren't in the special award classes, our judge was Pam Wooden. Sounds like the main classes haven't been published yet.

Thank you Sue jaw, it was the October2017 open shows we were at, but I really appreciate you looking for me. I will keep hoping!

The results,( judge P Wooden), are in the breed notes but no critiques.
I am going to bed now but I can copy/paste tomorrow if you want.
