Has anyone had the jab recently and what was the cost?

I have just paid £86 for the first vaccine including the consult fee and this seems extreme.

I'm going in later this week for something else and will query it yet again but would be nice to know what others are paying....

Also, I found that the manufacturer usually starts running low about this time of year, is this still the case?

My vets said the cost of buying it in has increased for them. I paid £64 I think and that was a mark up on what we have paid previously so I questioned it.

Was this for a single dose or for both?

I got my bitch the vaccine about 10 days ago and was charged £50.88 which has jumped in the 2 years since I last used it. My vets are not usually cheap so im surprised you were charged that for a single dose.

I spoke to my vet yesterday (he didn't see us when my girl was jabbed) and he's asked me to leave it with him yet again

Apparently, there is only one other client at the large practice who asks for it, so he'll check when he gets a chance!

I  paid my outstanding vets bill today (nice feeling lol) and it stated just over £41 for each in May and July.

I paid £48 for each vaccination. My vet is one of those who maintains a supply of vaccine as he has a lot of breeder clients and I always book a bitch in early because I know there is a chronic shortage.
