Rescue Staffie now a police dog due to her talent finding tennis balls
"Everyone meet Police Dog Roxy. Roxy was saved by the RSPCA at West Hatch after her previous owner could no longer care for her. She’s become the first ever rescue Staffie to qualify as a police explosives search dog. When she was rescued by the RSPCA she showed some super sniffing skills and so kennel supervisor Sue Dicks contacted police dog trainer PC Lee Webb, who has worked alongside the charity to help 14 rescue dogs overcome abuse, neglect and abandonment to become police dogs in the past five years."
