Can anyone recommend where to get semen collected and stored? Only ever dealt with natural matings!

There's a few places who deal with AI
Fit and fertile - Preston
UK clone - down south somewhere
Vetrepo - Cambridge
TheAiCentre - Bristol
Millhouse - Bridgend

I'd recomend fit and fertile, I have also heard good things about UK clone.

I had heard of fit and fertile but wanted a recommendation so thank you!

I'm subscribing to this too, would be good to hear recommendations as to which practice is more experienced and reliable, not only for doing AI but also their storage solutions.

(I have a male I plan to collect sperm from and keep for potential use in the future).

I have semen stored with fit and fertile from my now long deceased Ch boy ... The vet at willows in Warrington works hand in hand with Keith re inseminations and a friend recently had a good litter from old semen but AI is rather hit n miss. I have failed three times but not used the vet at Warrington.

Have used fit and fertile for semen collection and export to Australia - excellent to deal with despite lots of regulations for austrailia. First dose semen used and was excellent quality and produced 15 pups. Would definitely use them again for collection / export

Just found there are some recommendations in this thread too: http://forum.champdogs.co.uk/topic_show.pl?tid=148356

klb, was the semen you sent to Australia frozen or chilled?
- By klb [gb] Date 15.02.17 21:41 UTC
Frozen .. Don't think is possible to send chilled due to time involved for shipping and clearing import health checks

If I ever bothered to go down that route again I'd be calling to find out what their success rate was - no matter where they are in the country.
