My aussie has one of her ears going up though teething I have been told to glue them but reluctant to do this any other suggestions.

I have gsds.there are lots of articfixla methods but personally I would rather let nature take its course.give her things to chew and wait and see.more than likely both will eventually make it up .They used to say add cottage cheese to the diet but I am really not sure if that really helps

Australian Shepherd ears are similar to gun dogs except not quite so heavy.

Funny, in my breed they often go down when teething. Never had one not correct itself naturally.

Don't the ears go DOWN during teething, if they are going to, not up?  That doesn't seem logical (up).  And I think this is more likely if one or other of the parents perhaps has weak ears.

My Whippet raises her ears when on 'high alert' but she's always been like that - once through the baby stages.   I should have known more when I bought her but as a young pup, her ears would 'cross' over her head which should have told me they'd be more likely to raise.   When relaxed, the has them as they should be - 'rosebud'.   I'm not particularly concerned.   It gives her 'character'

In dobes ears often 'fly' during teething,  and my friend used to massage them to get them down to correct  . So I imagine they can do all sorts that isn't what is required.

I think if she is an Australian Shepherd her ears will be similar to a Rough Collie, slightly raised up and tipped over? Years ago when I had rough collies some breeders advised weighting the tip of a 'flying ear' sometimes chewing gum would be stuck on and have fine sand added to it to make weight! Horrendous!

I sincerely hope this is no longer done! I would also think they will settle once teething is finished.
