Hi
Can anyone tell me what I do with used boxes of florinef as my dog has passed away and I bought in bulk as price rocketed so I have all this exspensive medication I don't know what to do with

Return it to your vet. You might be refunded for it.

They don't refund they just bin which is scandalous considering the price they're charging now

To be fair, it is the law (for humans as well as animals) that any medication that has been dispensed must be safely destroyed if not used by the patient. Otherwise it could be contaminated, even if unopened.

Sorry for your loss.
Fortunate that our vet will take back meds, or as they do P.D.S.A work offer it for clients.

Try rescues, many will take in-date medication with gratitude.

if you do a search on Florinef you will see someone was needing some a short while ago. maybe you could contact them

Remember that they're prescription meds so it's illegal to sell them if you're not qualified to do so.
