Hiya all thought I'd update you on my little patterdale cross terrier well he's fab we let him off the lead today and he was fab there was no other dogs about so I didn't worry about him bounding over to say hello but he stayed with us and didn't break his recall once  I know it's the first time and he's bound to have those moments but atm I'm so proud of my little puppy he's doing well in puppy classes heel work stay and leave he's so clever

One thing I would ask im sure someone posted a link on a tug rabbit style toy to tap in to there instincts atm he's very food orinated but I would like something to switch between so lessen the food treats

Many thanks

Re that link (very useful) I have always used the Kong Wubba with my Whippet who at 8 + now, still plays with it and is an expert at catching it if thrown.   She then rags it mercilessly.   They seem to last a bit longer these days, as she doesn't destroy them as she used to.   My Basset shows NO interest in it whatsoever - in fact he lies there with an expression on his face that says ....  I'm WAY too Kool for that!!
