My dog just had her litter and only 3 survived of 10 (7 stillborns). One of the 3 is just a complete moose of a pup. I'm just wondering if  anybody is able to tell me the average daily weight gain of my pups breed? I know you guys try not to mention breeds. Just wondering.
At 24hrs old he was 10.3 oz
3 days he was 11.6 oz
4days old he was 1lb .02oz
5 days 1lb 1.8oz
6 days 1lb 6.8oz

The other 2 are only gaining between .3 oz - 2 oz. A day

Day 3-4 was a big jump!

Your pups sound a similar size to mine. One of mine for example had a birth weight of 11.4 and now on day 4 is 14.9.
He's obviously a bit of a greedy one! With only 3 I don't imagine it would be much of an issue, but maybe keep putting him on the front teats making sure the others get the fuller hind teats.

Once past the initial drop the first day I would be dissapointed if a pup did not gain an ounce a day in first 10 days.  My breed are 10-12 ounces on average at birth,  though couple ounces more or less not unusual.

So I'd say the other two need to be doing better and need to be plugged on every chance you get.
