I am going on holiday abroad for 2 weeks in January and I am so so worried about what to do with my 2 gorgeous cavaliers. This will be the first time I'll have been away from them and I'll miss them terribly. I want to make sure they will be in the safest hands possible.
Please can anybody on this site recommend a good kennel in Kent? Alternatively, can anybody give me any tips on selecting a kennel, questions I should ask, what to pack in their 'suitcases' etc?
All advice much appreciated.

The main kennels I use are at Ringwould, Dover, some 50 miles away from where I live :-)
To be honest, it is one of only two kennels, that I would trust the care of my dogs too.
I'm very picky :D Have a word with Jonathan and Liz Shaw at
The Animal Inn.

Where do you live? a friend of mine actually house sits your dogs so they dont have to go into kennels, she is totally trust worthy, and has been doing this for a while now, she charges £7 per dog per day that includes everything from walks to grooming etc, she used to work with me at the met police kennels and she now works for battersea at brands hatch so she knows what she is doing with the doggies.

Thanks for all info so far - any more will be much appreciated.
Also, if anybody knows of any kennels in London that they would recommend, that would also be really useful.
Thanks.
