A friend has just lost her bitch after whelping and has 9 Giant Schnauzer puppies in need of a surrogate mother.  They are only 10 hours old and the owner is in the Doncaster area, please share or contact me if you are able to help.  Many thanks.

I've just answered another question about, presmably this sad situation but the contributor said she was in the Derbyshire area.   Doncaster - Yorkshire?

Local vets may know of a recently whelped bitch whose owner might be able to help but as this doesn't always work, I hope she's armed with bottles and even better with a big litter (less time consuming) knows how to tube feed.   And is able to do this every 2 hours right round the clock.  And knows how to help the puppies eliminate.   And keep them warm.   Morbidly chilled puppies won't nurse.

I've read that they've got a Rottie surrogate and all were doing well last time there was an update
