Hi,

I have recently taken my youngster off of Orijen and have swapped to McAdams food, has anyone tried this food ?

I changed as my dog had the most shocking wind.....I think it even shocked him how bad it was and I'm surprised he didn't give himself whiplash as he jerked his head around so fast to look to see where the smell had come from before making a hasty retreat away from the area.

McAdams is locally made here in Sussex and is the only company to use whole British free range chickens here in the uk, very high welfare standards are what the owner demands apparently.

It has very similar ingredients to Orijen although McAdams don't use chicken meal, they slow roast their whole chickens.

It's also grain free.

My dog is loving the food and also he eats far less than Orijen, it is dearer however but hopefully this will work out about the same with the lesser amount eaten.

Yes...I battled with that first as Orijen is cheaper for 3 kilo more, it works out to be about £1.30 a day and so gave in.

His wind has disappeared so I think that alone is worth it.
