Has anyone had any experience with Dog Excema??
Major problems with my 3 year old staffordshire bull terrior that seems to be getting worse each day.
Only advice from vet is to give sterroid tablets that do not seem to be helping.
His paws are so red & swollen, yet he still continues when we're not watching him to bite & bite & lick them.

Hi there,

Generally when it is the paws it is an allergy of some sort. have a look at his diet. Make sure there is no brewers yeast in the diet or try and avoid this. It is well known a more natural diet can help allergies. Search for some other natural types of food such as chicken and real green tripe. I am not forcing this on you just offering some suggestions. Keep the dog off the grass as much as possible. Rinse feet with APV ( Apple Cider Vinegar) this may help deter him from chewing them. Cut out high protein foods also.

I am not an expert at this but had some experience of it.

Good luck.

Pam
