this I probably a long shot but am hoping, around 1984/5 we had 2 dobermanns both kc reg, and ive been searching for there pedigrees for years now, my memory is pretty hazey of pedigree names but dukes duchess and max of Gretna ring a bell, we lived in ecclefechan at the time then moved to Gretna Scotland, is there anyway I can find them at all, heres hoping, thanks adele

There was a Duke's Duchess born 8th November 1984 - a black and tan bitch. Her father was Dubrinkos Black Saracen and her mother was Fairway Lady.

No Max of Gretna, though - various 'Max of something else'. Any other suggestions of area name, maybe?

The link 1 is to a very large dobe database, that said most are very probably mainland european bred dogs.

Link 2 is to a dobe guy very knowledgeable in the sort of info your after, he knows a lot of that period dobe history, i suggest you email him & ask him about those names

Yes she did all registered

No the database runs on the dogs names as a lot of dogs, littermates, etc pre 1990 seem to be absent, so I expect they only put dogs pedigrees from active lines before a certain date.

My Belgian shepherd bitch doesn't have a complete pedigree and she was born in 1988.
