
depends on the allergy. I have dogs with allergies and feed raw. If its a food allergy its easy with raw you just don't feed it. If its environmental then the food wont make any difference.
Its really a case of reading labels. Look for no grain food like orijen and millies wolf heart on available on line. As kibbles go millies is at least clear as to what is in it and there a re few varieties to chose from. also I know a number who feed it with success for a condition point.
Ask a vet and they will have you on a hypoallergenic diet in which the proteins are broken down to small molecules that the body shouldn't recognise . I am very dubious sif these should really be fed long term. My first choice would be investigate raw .loaod sof good books and fb groups to help. if that snot possible look at millies or other grain free foods
