Evening all. We currently feed our 12.5yo ckcs on natures menu country hunter nuggets and mixer. I have been looking at Nutriment as an alternative as we have to soak the mixer and because. Of the low fibre content in the nuggets we have to give her the nuggets (long story short extremely bad constipation and admittance for 'clear out' back in June). Nutriment has a much greater fibre content so thinking of trying the senior with her. No local sellers here in Peterborough so any recommendations of where to get online. Also with the larger chub is it possible to cut it up into daily amounts of just go for the trays? Thanks in advance (ps I have posted on the raw feeding fab page if you see this post there too it's me)

You can order nutrimemt directly from the company.they come in 500 gram.blocks which can be defrosted enough to cut into meal . sized portions and re frozen with no problem.  You shouldn't  be adding a mixer to the raw though. if the  bone Content is too high add a little offal.but carefully  May I ask which group you Joined on fb ? Will look out for you if it's one of the ones I am in

I posted on raw feeding uk but am now also in barf uk under my alter ego marie white.  I didn't really understand the full raw thing tbh but have seen the benefits with naturesmenu in Molly (and the late Freya) general health. We stopped the mixer for a whole week but the lack of fibre (2% instead of 7%) gave her severe constipation. Poor thing had to be sedated and cleared out. Vet wanted us to switch to some special canned food but we declined and reintroduced the mixer. I'm keen to ditch the mixer etc in favour of something even better and with the high probability of another doggie in the house next year would love to start that one off on raw from the start. I will look tomorrow at their website properly and work out how much I could store in my freezer in one go. Thanks

I will look out for you on both groups and I am sure you will soon get the hang of raw and without needing mixer . It'd usually getting the balance right of bone to meat to offal that will prevent constipation and u won't have to worry about mixer.in fact it's nit recommended to feed raw and kibbles or mixer but all that will come clear

Hi Mollymoto
I have been using a new companies food, and I must say I have seen some fantastic results. I have a 13 year old Jack Russell cross, who has been transformed. She has gone from starting to slow down, to my best description is having had a battery recharge. She is interested in life, wants to play and interact with other dogs on a walk, whereas before she trotted along with a leave me alone attitude. Her tummy troubles have all cleared up, and her poos are now tiny!! What I really like, about this company is 1. Their free delivery is really low, and 2. The food comes in individually frozen "burgers". These are really easy to feed. I get out what I need for the day, they defrost in just over an hour, and there is no mess. I have tried all sorts of food for my old girl, but am completely converted to this way of feeding. She loves it, and can be picky with her food. My friends have tried it to, all with the same results. Give them a try , the lady who owns the company is lovely, and great for all types of doggy advise. Good luck. Oh, the company is called Luna and Me

Jamie W, one post on this forum, sounding suspiciously like a sales pitch? :p

Nutriment is a good food. The cleanest way to portion would be using the tubs, defrosting, portioning it and freezing it again. You can do the same with the chubs but defrost it in a bowl of some kind.
