Can anyone recommend a good rear seat cover?  We've had ones from Pets at Home in the past but they don't last that well and aren't very waterproof.  I've got a great one in my car, hard to describe but like a translucent, thick PVC/rubber that is hard wearing and 100% waterproof.  However it was from my late father-in-law and I can't find anything similar online.  Thanks!

i use car seat 'hammocks' from ebay, theres a variety of strengths in the >fabric and fastener area< of them. A lot depends on the weight of your dog, mines 31kg & i dont use them as a hammock, I cut 2 of them into seperate halves and use one part as a back cover and the second for the seat.....depends on what dog you have but they are quite big things and as far as i can tell waterproof...

These are the ones i buy & use but cutting them up to your design so they fit back & seat is down to each individual user

These are the people I can strongly recommend.  By no means the cheapest, but boy, do their covers last.   We have one we used to cover the whole of the back of the car behind the front seats, and you'd not know it's not brand new and I can't remember how long ago it was when we bought it.   I can't think they make much money, their products last for so long!!!

ps   I just checked their car covers and can't find the exact style we bought - ours isn't quilted.

I've had these covers for 6 years now, they look good and are brilliant for the dogs, you can wipe them down or chuck them in the washing machine and my seats still look good as new underneath. Only problem for me was I had to buy 3 sets as my car has individual seats rather than a bench back seat. Still I've certainly got value out of them - 6 years, 85000 miles together
